📖 Buy an Upgraded CSB Thinline Reference Bible
$50 for a upgraded Bible that retails at $70 (pictures below)
I have several upgraded copies of Holmans CSB Thinline Reference Bible for sale!
The CSB (Christian Standard Bible) is a great translation of almost anyone. It reads smoothly and is recommended for anyone who can read at a middle school level—although I think children in upper grade school would be perfectly capable of reading this translation.
One of the great things about the CSB is that even with its easy readability, it still feels like a strong translation. It may not be the most technical or poetic like the ESV or NKJV, but it does not feel watered down at all. Personally, it feels stronger in language than the NIV and NLT. For me, this is really nice!
If the KJV, ESV, or NASB are too difficult for you to read or you are looking for something new, try out the CSB.
If you have any questions about the CSB translation, drop a comment or shoot me a message.
The Bible
The base bible is great! Here are the features:
Genuine Leather Binding
Small and portable
The Bible’s block is 5.375” x 8.25”
With the cover, the whole Bible is about 6.75” x 9.5”
It is only ~1 inch thick
It weights only about 1.5 pounds
Black Genuine Leather Cover
Durable leather that will not scratch super easily
Pebbled Grain
Durable Perimeter Stitching
Gold Art Gilt
The edges of the pages are covered with a gold art gilt
Center Column Cross-References
I love this style
The cross-references are found in a center column between the two main columns of text
This is a very traditional look and won’t go out of style
Text
8.5 Type size which is very readable for those who have normal vision
Font type and typeset are very readable and clean
Words of Christ in red
Concordance
Full color maps
Sewn Binding
More durable than glued spines
Lays flat
This lays pretty flat out of the box, but within a month of heavy use my personal copy is laying super flat
Rounded Spine
This Bible has a rounded spine that looks really sharp
It does not lay as flat compared to flat spines, but the rounded spine does not prevent the Bible from staying open after some light use
Paper
One of the perks of buying a leather cover bible is usually the paper
This bible has pretty nice paper for a bible under $70
I have yet to rip a page or drastically crease a page in a month of heavy use. I’ve carried it everywhere for a month.
The paper takes pen and highlighter well and can be written in without major ghosting or bleed through—with the right kinds of pens
My Upgrades:
Ribbons
The Bible originally comes with a single 1/4th inch red ribbon
I have replaced it with TWO 3/8th inch ribbons
I am selling custom colors, but red is my default
I will have red in stock, but if you are interested in a custom color, let me know
3/8ths inch vs 1/4th is a noticeable difference
This alone levels up your bible a ton
3/8th inch ribbons do not crease as easily or quickly
They also look proportional to your Bible
You can choose whether to have the bottom of the ribbon cut at an angle or flat
Dyed Pages
I am dyeing the edges of the pages to add color under the gold art gilding
This really adds a new dimension and pop of color to the Bible
Red again is the default color, but I can do custom colors
Red is just very traditional and clean with black covers
This style is very traditional and was common in Bibles for a long time
Dyeing the pages and adding good ribbons will make this mass produced Bible almost like an introductory premier Bible.

I am selling these upgraded Bibles for $50. If you want a custom color that I do not have ribbons or dye for the cost is $55.
Bibles will come with their original box too.
This post will remain up as long as I have copies. As time goes on, I may run out of blanks for custom copies and only have red upgrades.
