My Pentecost Reflection

Missions is the heart of Pentecost

🕊️ Pentecost & Missions Go Hand in Hand 🌍

One thing I love about my Pentecostal heritage is our heart for missions. As I reflected on Pentecost Sunday, I was reminded:

The message of Pentecost is incomplete without a heart for the nations.

Yes, Acts 2 is filled with power—tongues of fire, rushing wind, the Holy Spirit filling the 120. But the main event? Peter stands up and preaches the gospel to people from every nation gathered in Jerusalem.

🔥 Spirit power isn’t just for experience—it’s for mission.

On Pentecost Sunday, we got to hear from missionaries serving in Togo, Africa. They’re training and sending pastors and leaders—and several from our church gave to support their work! 🙌

Here’s the challenge:

If you’ve been filled with the Spirit, you’re also called to carry the message.

Some of us will give 💸

Some of us will go 🧳

All of us are called to care 🌐

The Pentecostal life is about more than worship services—it’s about advancing the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Let’s not forget:

To be people of the Spirit is to be people on mission.
