I want to stay at home…

For me, there were many times the past 4 years I contemplated remaining outside the traditional Pentecostal church, specifically my home fellowship—the Assemblies of God USA.

I had many friends leave our Pentecostal fellowship over the past few years. Some joined the Anglican Church. Others, the baptists… the orthodox… the Church of God… Some just became independent or nondenominational.

Each friends departure has been sad because I know our churches and fellowship have lost valuable people and truly great minsters and leaders.

It is similar to when your hometown sports team loses a good player to another team in free agency…

While I was in school at Evangel University in Springfield, MO I got a firsthand look at the AG and their leadership [The AG headquarters and executive leadership all operate out of Springfield a mile or so away from my university].

My time at Evangel allowed me to see many of the beauties of our fellowship: missions, charity, training of young leaders, prayer warrior, etc…
